Catharina has a BA in Business Administration. She has been working with development issues for over fifteen years, both as a long-term consultant and with short-term assignments. Her expertise is good governance with focus on social inclusion, gender perspectives and result based management. She is experienced in working with gender training and gender mainstreaming tools. She has undertaken a number of organisational reviews, system audits and various evaluations in several sectors. Her resume includes: Long-term advisor for implementation of a new financial management system at the Ministry of Finance in Lesotho, various financial management assignments in Southern and Eastern Africa, working with gender responsive budgeting and and women's economic empowerment in the Baltic , Balkan and CIS countries.
