In summer 2011, Sida Georgia commissioned Indevelop to conduct an evaluation of UNDP's Democratic Governance Programme. The Programme, which consisted of 7 separate, yet thematically inter-related projects, was, with a financial contribution of 291.00000 SEK from Sida in the period from January 2007 to April 2010, mainly funded by Sida.

The main aim of the evaluation was to inform Sida decision-making on funding of a further programme, to be implemented by UNDP, in the area of decentralisation and local self-governance.
