Sida Terms of Reference
Sida has tasked Indevelop to undertake an evaluation of LPI, an international and ecumenical centre established in 1985 which, through a combination of research and action, supports and promotes non-violent approaches to conflict transformation. Since the mid 1990s LPI has received funding from Sida.
The evaluation is intended to support Sida and LPI to jointly assess the relevance of programme objectives and approaches in relation to the context and the effectiveness of support. As a mid-term review, the evaluation will support LPI to consider how to further develop its programme in the next implementation period (2012-2015). Emphasis shall also be placed on understanding the quality of capacity development in order to facilitate Sida's future decisions regarding continued engagement.
