Training in Health Service Management in Serbia
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen health service reform and to develop a comprehensive, sustainable management training programme in the health sector in Serbia in accordance with internationally recognized standard.
Services provided:
Assisting the training of high and midlevel health care managers at primary, secondary and tertiary care level of Serbian health institutes, to improve the efficiency, and cost effectiveness of health care services.
Supporting the establishment of a modern management structure within the health care sector to ensure the sustainability of reform projects undertaken in the sector. More specifically:
- The establishment of a sustainable country wide institutional model of health management education (HME) in Serbia
- The increase of staff capacity to deliver relevant, innovative HME and training
- The provision of training (at master level and also including short and medium term courses) in health management congruent with nationally agreed and EU accepted standards.
- Refurbishment of facilities, where training will be conducted
- Supervise installation of electronic teaching equipment
