Technical Assistance for the Health Sector Reform Project

Technical Assistance project financed by the Asian Development Bank at the Department of Health called "Support to the Health Sector Reform Project". One international team leader and 9 local consultants were assigned to this TA.

The overall deliverable of the team was the implementation of the Health Sector Reform Agenda (HSRA) through assessment, preparation of implementation plans, implementation and monitoring progress of

1. HSRA national plans, including cross-cutting areas,
2. HSRA Local Government Unit (LGU) plans for the project sites, and
   
3. Technical reports or studies to support the policy matrix.

Advice and technical assistance was provided on:

• Health Sector Reform,
• Public Health,
• Hospital Financial Management,
• Health Adminstration,
• District Planning and Management,
• Health Care Finance,
• Human Resource Management,
• Drug Management.
