Supporting Team ALMAKO with expertise and advice in the team’s work of operationalising the recommendations of the country reports on strengthening focus on women’s economic empowerment.

Input from the consultants included:

• Looking into what other donors are doing in this area and opportunities for cooperation;
• Recommendations that can be addressed in the existing portfolio;
• Advice on additional support;
• Support in formulating the key messages that Sida needs to structure its dialogue around and how can these be delivered/packaged to have best impact;
• Feed back to Sida in terms of experiences and learning for continued policy and method development.
