Status Evaluation of the Cooperation between ICEIDA and INIP
Background:
Iceland's co-operation with Mozambique dates back to 1996. Iceland's assistance has included constructing and equipping a laboratory in Maputo, Beira and Quelimane and the training of its personnel, providing technical assistance to Fish Inspection System (INIP), building of an administration office in Quelimane. ICEIDA has furthermore assisted INIP with various other minor requests in times of need.
The Cooperation had been ongoing for 11 years when ICEIDA and the Ministry of Fisheries in Mozambique decided to get an externally independent status evaluation on the Cooperation before making any decisions on future Cooperation on supporting INIP.

- Status evaluation of the cooperation between ICEIDA and INIP;
- Progress evaluation from the beginning;
- Giving advice on future operations.
