Qualitative training for the study “Improving Dual Protection Counseling for Youth”

Our consultant undertook a training of two qualitative researchers to complete in-depth and cognitive interviews (thinkalounds) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Training included:

• Research methods
• Research ethics
• Overview of instruments
• Mock interviewing
• Pre-testing of instruments
• Finalization of instruments

Actual services provided:

• Assistance in preparation of data collection tools;
• Preparation of the training;
• Conduct of the training in Dar es Salaam;
• Writing and submission of trip report.
