Preparation of a Project Proposal on Support to Children's Literature in the Mena region

MENA region, 2005, Sida

Developing a comprehensive proposal for Sida on support to children's literature in the Mena region with focus on institutional and capacity building. The assignment included the study of relevant documentation, interviews with relevant persons in Sweden, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Syria. The proposal was developed in dialogue with Sida Stockholm and Sida Cairo. The draft proposal was presented and amended on a regional workshop in Alexandria, with representatives for Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.
