Participate in UNAIDS Working Group in the area of HIV and gender for Sida

In June 2009, PCB/ UNAIDS endorsed the UNAIDS Action Framework: Addressing Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV and established a Global Task Force on Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV, to agree on an Operational Plan at a meeting in Glion, Switzerland, mid-October 2009.

Three working groups (WGs) were prepared, meeting in Montreux on 16-18 September 2009.

The Consultant participated in the WG2 Assisting countries to ensure that national strategies, operational plans and associated budgets address the needs of women and girls in the context of HIV.
