Mid-term review of the Swedish civil society programme in Ethiopia
A mid-term review of the Sida funded civil society programme where support had the new form of being channeled through nine local and international framework organisations (FO).
The objective of the review was to test these new modalities and assess the capacity of the civil society organisations to take the responsibility.
The review focused on results and organisational set up of the programme. More specifically the Mid-term evaluation assessed and reflected on:
- The operation structures;
- The contribution of the programme to strengthening the capacity of the FOs and the role of the FO in the capacity building of the sub-grantee organizations to pursue their operations;
- The existence and fulfillment of formal requirement;
- The actual results and effects on the direct/final target group/s.
