Implementation of purchaser-provider arrangement and case mix in the Icelandic health care system

This project was a part of the preparations for changes in health care and social security sectors in Iceland. The project supported the implementation of purchaser/provider arrangement and case mix in the Icelandic health care system. The consultants also looked at cost assessment and a change of reimbursement systems and procedures. The provided services included arrangement of study visits from high-level ministry officials to Sweden and training for ministerial officials in Iceland.
