Health Strategic Plan, Technical Assistance to Local Government Authorities
The Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister's Office, has engaged Indevelop AB (Lead) and associates to provide technical assistance to 44 councils in Tanzania. The councils are implementing rehabilitation of their health facilities (health centers, dispensaries and staff houses) under a Joint Rehabilitation Fund. Indevelop, together with associates, provide training on project supervision; including architectural, technical and procurement components, as well as on financial management in accordance with the Joint Rehabilitation fund Guidelines.
The training is conducted as seminars and on-the-job training in all 44 councils. The project started in September 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in September 2011.
