Capacity Development in Guichou Province, China

Indevelop, subcontracted to HIFAB/Ramboll Natura, provided capacity and institutional development and development of a gender plan within the Sida funded project on Capacity Development of the Environment Administration and Master Plan for Restoration of Abandoned Mining Areas and Sustainable Zinc Production in Guichou Province of China.

The assignment included:

• Development of a management training and development program for key managers in environmental protection, focusing on key factors for successful change and capacity development in all areas of environmental protection;

• Development of an in-house training of trainers/consultants in change management and leadership, consultancy work in action and training methodology;

• Development of a Gender Plan for the Environmental Protection Bureau including key gender issues in zinc production.
