Current International Training Programmes
October proves to be a busy month for Indevelop. Currently we are involved in two Sida international training programs: Peace and Security in Africa and Human Rights, Peace and Security.
Between 10-28 October, 2011 Indevelop is implementing the Sida financed training programme "Human Rights, Peace and Security" in Stockholm. The principle aim of the programme is to initiate a dialogue between actors in their field of human rights, peace and security and to develop an action oriented projects. The programme has 26 carefully recruited change agents representing key state institutions and civil society organizations from post conflict countries of Cambodia, Colombia, East Timor, Liberia and Sierra Leone. For more information of the programme.
There have also been a number of recruitment trips to Iraq, Lebanon, OPT and Sierra Leone. Next month seems equally busy as we are embarking on our very first international training program on UNSCR 1325 and part of the staff will be travelling for a 2 week follow up for the Human Rights program to Cambodia.
