Sida: Development of a Concept Paper on Human Resources for Health
An Indevelop consultant, Ms. Anna-Carin Kandimaa-Matterson, recently completed a concept paper on Human Resources for Health (HRH) for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The report covers Sweden's guiding principles in development cooperation and their relation to HRH, the global situation analysis and trends in HRH, the health workplace at the country level, HRH in fragile states, key bilateral and multilateral positions, and country examples. The paper also provides some recommendations for Sida in working with HRH.
