Gender training in Serbia

Indevelop is currently implementing a series of training courses for local gender mechanisms as part of the contract with the Serbian Gender Equality Directorate.

The training is a part of implementing the new Serbian National strategy for improving the position of women and promoting gender equality. Indevelop conducted trainings in Kragujevac and Niš during 24-28 January.

The training is aligned with the priorities set out in the strategy and focus on gender analysis, gender budgeting, women's economic empowerment and gender and media. The local mechanisms are currently developing local action plans as part of implementing the national strategy.
