Seminar on gender responsive budgeting in Ukraine
Indevelop is arranging a seminar on December 7th on Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) as part of the budget reform project (funded by Sida) at national level in Ukraine. Key participants are Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports.
The aim of the seminar is to create an understanding of GRB and its relevance to the ongoing budget reform process. The seminar will present international experiences of linking GRB and budget reform and discuss lessons to be learned for the Ukrainian context, and will aim to identify entry points for anchoring GRB in the Ukrainian budget process and budget reform.
The seminar will be led by Catharina Schmitz (Managing Director Indevelop) and Dr. Elisabet Klatzer (PhD in Economics).
