Assessment of the National Health Research System in the Kingdom of Lesotho
The research system assessment led to recommendations to recruit and train an independant research ethics committee that will review all health and social welfare research applications in the country. This recommendation is being followed up by the World Bank.
The assignment was carried out under the Health Systems Strengthening Technical Assistance (HSS-TA) project funded by the Millenium Challenge Corporation. InDevelop is part of a consortium led by the Finnish National Institute of Health and Welfare providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in Lesotho until 2013.
