Human Rights, Peace and Security
Indevelop is responsible for managing Sida's International Training Programme in Human Rights, Peace and Security. It is a five week course with three in Sweden and two abroad.
The program centers on societies in transition from armed conflict to peace, and where
there are existing strategies to confront legacies of human rights abuses and massive atrocities, and address the underlying causes of abuse to ensure human security. The Program rests on the premise that there is a process of establishing accountability, state-citizen relationships, and the creation of democratic institutions.
2011 SIDA Advanced International Training Program 270
