1325: Women, Peace and Security (MENA region)

Sida International Training Programme

Indevelop together with the foundation Kvinna till Kvinna is responsible for managing Sida's International Training Programme in 1325: Women, Peace and Security. It is a five week course with three weeks in Sweden and two in another country.

The program centers on tools and methods to increase women's influence and participation in the implementation of peace accords and post-conflict reconstruction, and to increase the recognition of the special needs of girls and women in conflict and post-conflict societies.

This program invites participants from the following countries: Lebanon, Iraq and Occupied Palestinian Territories

The next course will take place in Stockholm, Sweden 12-31 March 2012. Closing date for applications is 1 November 2011
