Human rights
Indevelop works with integrating human rights principles in sector development processes, budget and strategy processes, program development and evaluations. We link human rights principles to results-based management, as well as assist in developing indicators, monitoring and evaluation systems.
Our aim is to support clients in their work to effectively apply a human rights-based approach that contributes to effective service delivery and facilitates the inclusion of vulnerable, discriminated groups in decision-making processes. Consequently, building accountability towards human rights obligations and to support poverty alleviation.
We work to integrate human rights standards and obligations into capacity building and institutional development processes within health system reform, peace and security processes and governance processes. We build capacity among duty bearers to respond to human rights commitments and to strengthen rights holders' capacity to more effectively claim their rights. We specifically focus on processes that build accountability, transparency and participatory processes to more effectively apply right based principles in working processes.
We specifically focus on public administration, governance and budgetary processes, human rights and peace and security, conflict analysis, health system development, sexual health and reproductive rights and HIV/AIDS.
