Civil society
Civil society organizations (CSOs) play a key role in democratic development, promoting respect for human rights and poverty reduction in developing countries. Civil society has a unique potential to make positive contributions toward peace-building and conflict mitigation.
In addition to in-house competencies, Indevelop works with international, regional and local experts focused on the role of civil society for democratic development and building peace. Our experts provide policy analysis for civil society organisations and donors, facilitate organizational development, learning reviews, evaluations and strategic management.
Indevelop carries out practically-oriented training programmers on the role and function of civil society in peace-building processes. Indevelop also conducts studies on civil society organizations, such as the role of civil society in democratic development and evaluations on relevance, effects and efficiency, organizational reviews assessing capacity and leadership structures of CSOs.
Our clients include Swedish and international civil society organisations, donors supporting NGOs and academic institutions conducting training of the role of CSO in development.
