Aid effectiveness and results-based management
Increasing the impact and effectiveness of development aid has been a top priority for development actors since the early 1990s.
Indevelop works closely with donors, partner governments and civil society to develop capacity and increase aid effectiveness and a results-oriented approach. As a general rule, Indevelop applies results-based management perspectives to development challenges. This means that all activities, services and processes contribute to the achievement of desired results. This requires clearly defined accountability for results, and requires systematic monitoring, self-assessment and reporting on progress.
In addition to in-house competences, we work with leading consultants and experts in the areas of aid effectiveness, results-based management and change management, including developing relevant indicators, project management, strategic planning and communication, LFA, outcome mapping and evaluations.
Our training programmes have explicit modules on project management, change management, results-based management, capacity development, leadership and aid effectiveness.
Indevelop carries out evaluations, organizational reviews, reality checks and result analysis, with the aim of improving the capacity of implementing organization and to make aid more effective and results-oriented.
We are also involved in designing how aid can function more effectively by, for example, identifying relevant effect and process indicators that can be used to measure and follow-up aid on a broad national level. Indevelop assists donors in developing more effective dialogues and advocacy approaches with stakeholders, making aid more focused and effective.
