Bernt Andersson
Bernt Andersson is a specialist in health systems development, planning and programming, monitoring and evaluation. Long experience from development co-operation, most recently as Director of Sida´s Health division. Experience from country programming and implementation, co-operation with UN organizations and global health initiatives. Extensive experience from various posts in the Swedish national health system including hands-on experience of health reforms. Has been working as technical advisor to Ministry of Health in Angola and as regional health systems adviser at the Pan American Health Organization based in Washington DC. Recent short term assignments in health program design, SWAP processes and evaluations in East Africa, Central Asia and Central America.
Master of Political Science with business Administration and Economics, Gothenburg University, Sweden, 1973.
Languages: Fluent in English and good working knowledge in Spanish and Portuguese, native language Swedish.
